What Will Minecraft Live September 2026 Show?
Mojang has not revealed every announcement before the event. However, the official Minecraft Live page confirms that the broadcast will cover the next Minecraft update. The page currently asks players to watch the event to find out what the new update will contain.

Insider Gaming reports that Mojang will provide another look at Minecraft Dungeons 2, while the wider presentation will focus on the next stage of Minecraft following the Wilderness Bound release.
Minecraft Wilderness Bound Came Before the Event
The timing of this Minecraft Live is important because it follows the release of Wilderness Bound.
Mojang lists Wilderness Bound as available now on its official Minecraft Live page. The game drop adds new content focused on exploring the outdoors, including the dappled forest, abandoned camps and new building options.
Minecraft Java Edition also received the 26.3 release cycle for Wilderness Bound in September. Mojang’s release notes confirm that the full game drop was scheduled for September 15.
This gives Mojang a clear starting point for discussing what comes next during the September livestream.
Will Minecraft Get an End Update?
Ahead of this event, the topic generating the most buzz among Minecraft players is a potential update to ‘The End’. This speculation stems from promotional material related to the Minecraft Live broadcast scheduled for September. Insider Gaming reports that Endermen appeared in the teaser, leading to the assumption that ‘The End’ might receive significant focus.
However, Mojang has not confirmed an ‘End update’ in the information released prior to the livestream. Therefore, players should treat the idea of an ‘End update’ as mere speculation rather than confirmed news.
The official Minecraft Live page simply says that viewers will learn about the next Minecraft update during the broadcast.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 Is Also Part of the Picture
Minecraft Dungeons II is another game to watch during the September event. Mojang is already promoting the sequel, and its official website lists Minecraft Dungeons II as an upcoming dungeon-crawling action RPG.
Insider Gaming reports that Minecraft Live will include another look at the game.
Mojang has also been running promotions connected to Minecraft Dungeons II around the September 26 broadcast. Its official site recently listed a Twitch and TikTok watchtime promotion running through September 26.
